Rapper Faith (his real name is Ivan Dremin) canceled the autumn tour in Russia, as the organizers did not manage to sell the required number of tickets, a source from the musician’s circle told Varlamov.ru. The cancellation of the tour has nothing to do with the content of his new album, there were no bans from the authorities, the source said.
On September 2, Faith released the album "The Paths are Inconceivable" criticizing the Russian authorities. It consists of eight songs, on its cover you can see the coat of arms of Russia, an oil rig and a star in a barbed wire. Exactly one month later, on October 2, the rapper announced the cancellation of the tour, he did not name the reason for such a decision.
The tour, scheduled for autumn 2018, is canceled. I apologize to everyone who has made plans related to my concerts. You will definitely have the opportunity to attend my performances in your city, but not this year.
Ways are inscrutable.
Faith, October 2
The album "Ways Inconceivable" he wrote nine months. While working on him, Dremin began taking vocal lessons and went on his first political action - a march in support of 18-year-old Anna Pavlikova, accused of organizing an extremist community.
The release date was not chosen by chance: Dremin wanted to release it before the election of the mayor of Moscow. Before the release of the album, Faith shaved his head live, and then appeared in the frame in a balaclava and with a Kalashnikov machine gun. <...>
Father Faith worried: “Album AUEshny, semi-criminal. On the brink. And together with the cover and the inscription - I think Pope [Vladimir Putin] can be very upset. ”
