The history of the development of the plant
The history of the plant begins in 1941, when the Great Patriotic War began, the Slavic factory of acid-resistant ceramics was partially evacuated to KuybyshevDonetsk region) The evacuation of the industry in the Donetsk region was hampered by the unexpectedly rapid German seizure of these territories: Slavyansk was already occupied on October 25, 1941. Despite this, part of the equipment of the acid-resistant ceramics plant was delivered to the Smyshlyaevka station of the Kuibyshev region, and the six workers and thirty-six teenage students accompanying him and six had to build a ceramic factory from scratch and start the production of auto-insulators.

The launch of the plant took place in December 1942. During the Second World War, the plant produced auto-isolators, and in the post-war period it switched to the production of sanitary-building faience, facing tiles and other popular goods. The plant was developing, new workshops were launched: foundry, mechanical, carpet-mosaic tiles and others. Production survived the restructuring and is now one of the most successful not only in the region, but also in Russia. Today the Samara Stroyfarfor plant produces popular brands: GRASARO, KERRANOVA ceramic tiles, and SANITA, SANITA LUXE sanitary ware.
Manufacture of sanitary-building products
Raw materials for products brought from Russia and neighboring countries.Feldspar, quartz sand comes from the Urals, clay is imported from Ukraine, pigments from Italy and Spain.

Ceramic granite is a non-porous and extremely durable material, which consists of a mixture of high-strength clays with the addition of quartz, feldspar and natural mineral pigments-dyes, oxides of various metals. The composition of ceramic granite is related to porcelain, according to the technology of manufacturing, experts refer it to a single-fired tile, and by final properties and beauty it is comparable to a natural stone.

If a liquid mixture is needed for the manufacture of cast products, then for the production of porcelain stoneware the slip is dried to a powder. The powder is poured into a special machine, pressed and it turns out tile - semi-finished.

Billets move along a conveyor belt, passing additional processing along the way.

Then the product gets to the area of ​​glazing. Drawings on the tile are applied using digital printing machines.

Then the future tile is sent to the second floor - in the oven.

Porcelain Roasting Furnaces

Extruded semi-finished product is fired in a special furnace at a temperature of about 1200 degrees. In a furnace, tile acquires all the important properties: strength, water absorption, resistance to pollution and so on.
